The book contains 37 chapters. 37th chapter on questions is given separately. It begins with chater 1 with introduction to the field of Neurophysiology tracing some of its historical  background. It proceedsin in chapters 2-10 to examine Neurobiology of the neuron. The structure and fuctions of neuron and nerves, the mechanism of generation of rsting membrane potential action potential and conduction of impulse is given. The mechanism of communicaion of neurous system to fuction as one unit is described convincingly. Similary this book takes fuctions off diffrent parts of vervous system in separate chapters to explain theit significance and fuctions  in a proper manner for the understading of the reader.
