TEXTBOOK ON EXTRUSION TECHNOLOGY

The primary objective of Extrusion Technology if to produce a desired shape change in the from of Rods and Sections. It is well known that material properties affect the process and lprocessing which change the material properties. The major technical topics in this book are Extrusion of Ferrous and non-ferrous metals.,process variable, applications and economy, metalludrgical variable,metal flow, quality assurance, recent topics., ectrudability, tools design ans selection of lpresses. Among these, the most important one is extrusion o metals, tool design and extdrudability.  the interrelatjionship berween the process variable and its effect on deformation is very important. In this text-book, most of the topics relevant to extrusion are covered.
